I have high standards when looking for a dentist, as with any doctor. First, the office has to be creative and comfortable. Second, the staff has to be outgoing and pretty. Third, appointments have to be on time, who wants to wait? Fourth, the dentist HAS to be friendly and FUNNY!! Fifth, there has to be payment options. You past on all points. I had such a great time, I was sad when I had to leave.

I was somewhat anxious when I arrived, although I’m used to having teeth extracted. The staff did everything they could to set me at ease (they even put up with my humor…or attempts at such!). The procedure went almost flawlessly. This was – I think- a somewhat difficult extraction but the only discomfort I experienced was when Dr. Braithwaite pushed to the right. There was some sympathetic pressure (I guess you’d call it that) in the space where the extracted tooth’s opposite had been before it was pulled. There were about three very brief episodes of the discomfort; on a scale of 1 to 10 the severity was about three. I didn’t even need to alert the doctor. Having dental work of this sort is not pleasant, but this was perhaps the easiest and least uncomfortable procedure I can remember. I’m writing this about four and a half hours after the work. The novacaine has worn off but my discomfort level is less than 1. I took two ibuprofin and I feel certain of a good night’s rest. All in all, if this is the worst I experience from now on, any further episodes of anxiety will likely turn out to be for nothing. Thanks for one of the best dental appointments I’ve ever been through. And yes, feel free to publish my comments.
